The first three years of a child's education is
the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
At Phoenix Academy, our focus is on the individual student. We
challenge the minds of our youngest students by focusing on their
individual needs. With our smaller classrooms, students thrive
as they build a solid foundation for life. Students practice their
skills in small groups and with the one-on-one attention that
we feel each and every student deserves. Smaller groups also lend
themselves to better communication in the classroom environment.
Students are more willing to ask questions and express themselves.
At each of the different elementary grade levels, our staff guides
the students' growth toward critical and creative thinking, while
fostering their emotional and social growth developing into becoming
compassionate young people.
At Phoenix, we aren't just concerned with the academic student,
we believe in educating the entire child. In addition to math,
reading, science, social studies, language arts and spelling,
we offer art, music, character and physical education. Because
younger students need to experience education hands on, we try
to take the students on one academically relevant class trip every
month.
