MIDDLE/UPPER SCHOOL 7-10th GRADE
GENERAL INFORMATION
Students in our Middle/Upper School receive instruction geared towards mastery of the NC Standards. Students are challenged to think outside the box by applying information to real world situations. The curriculum is challenging, and assessments are rigorous. Our teachers are caring and diligently working to develop and equip students with the skills needed to be successful.
At Phoenix, students are encouraged to develop a love for learning and explore interesting topics in all subject areas. Learning takes place in a variety of ways. Student study topics in whole group, individually, and in teams. Students take part in discussion groups and participate in project-based learning. Students learn through research and have online resources at their fingertips.
Phoenix Teachers strive to provide students with tools to properly prepare them for rigorous and meaningful assessments. Students in turn have to apply themselves to rise to the challenges set in all classes.
